Open Question: In the Dead Rising 2 games who else hated Sullivan? (MAJOR SPOILERS)?
Ok, let me just say this. I have played and beaten DR, DR2 and DR2 Off the Record. IN MY personal honest biased opinion I HONESTLY hated him. His voice actor was terrible and his lines were awful. So much so that he actually destroyed the story. Without him the games would've been so much better. When he killed Rebecca in DR2 I no longer wanted to play the game, the only thing motivating me was seeing him die a horrible death which I will give props to Capcom for. However it wasn't enough to justify. The moment that bullet hit Rebecca's forehead the game went from a 9 out of 10 to about a 5 out of 10. This is no joke. I'm not trying to be cute. I have been playing video games almost religiously for 18 years of my life and in doing so I naturally have a nature to rate games with professionalism. I even used to right game reviews for the school news paper for crying out loud. What is the most disturbing to me is the fact that no matter how much I roam the net I can't find a single person who disliked him. This is very strange. In my entire life of gaming I have NEVER encountered a massive rating drop near the end of a game. EVER! Not only that in DR2 Off the Record, even though he wasn't the protagonist he was still a waste of a cut scene, I was even dissatisfied by the way he died. I wanted Stacey to shove that bullet right up his F-ing forehead just like he did to Rebecca. Too bad though right? Sorry, didn't mean to...fly off the handle there. All I'm trying to say is, if you disagree with me then play the game again and dissect his character on every line and everything he does and you will notice how stupid his character is. I would kindly like your opinion. NO insignificant character should EVER have the right to kill a major character in such a way.
