Open Question: Sims 2 "has stopped working"?
Pleeease help, I've been at this for hours now! Ok so, I've always really wanted to play the Sims. I have it on my ipod but it sucks on that bc it's not the full thing! And what I want is certain sims people made for an anime that are only for sims 2... + the reviews are all saying that sims 2 is wayyy better than 3 soo...
I downloaded a torrent and waited foreverrrrr for utorrent to do whatever with it, then I used magiciso to turn the uif files into the correct ones, then I used daemontools to mount the cd's and blahbalahbalbh. Yes, I did everything right, the installation went well but I'm pretty sure it's something to do with my video card driver, since my laptop also won't play minecraft. Lucky me, right? I know, I knoww... I should probably buy it but there's literally no where I can, if I could buy it online I would, but it's not available anymore! Bleh!
So yep, I'm using a shitty toshiba laptop and my display thing is Intel R HD Graphics, I've went on the site and updated them a billion times but NOPE. And I've also set the sims 2 on windows 98/ windows me and also windows xp but STILL NOPE. And I've reinstalled it 3 times now. Pleeeease heeelp! I reeeally want to play this game :C
Oh andddddddd also I'm using windows 7 so...
but pleeeEEEEASE HELPPPPPPP! I've also been online and it said to lower the quality of the sims 2 and also mmy computer?? :S
