Open Question: Why do men make lousy providers nowadays? Most men do NOT provide well for the family & women do it better Why?

Women nowadays are outearning their men. Why is that? why do men make lousy family providers? In my experience, MOST men do NOT provide well for the family. They just want to sit at home, drink beer, play video games, etc. Why is that? Ditto with my friends' experiences. I'm not saying place the burden entirely on men, only that men fall behind on this so much. Why? Do women make better providers for the family?
