Open Question: Which headset to buy for gaming?
i am looking for a good 5.1 surround sound headset for my gaming computer and i have found two options, one the coolermaster storm sirus and the other the rosewill RHTS-8206. I am on a tight budget so the rosewill is appealing because it is cheaper and has vibration in it so the bass of music or the firing of a gun will make it vibrate making it more realistic. the rosewill does have only decent mic quality which is something i am looking for because im going to use the mic for recording videos and cant have much static (yes ik i should get a snowball mic or something similar but my budget only allows for one mic, cant afford 2 yet). I have heard from a couple reviews that it isn't compatible with windows 7 64 bit which is what i have but idk if it was a headset fault or if thats true. the coolermaster does seem to have a bit better sound quality (not sure on the mic) but doesnt have the vibration and will work with windows 7 64bit. Another thing to note is i do not have a sound card in my computer besides the one on the motherboard so i may need to purchase a better sound card which will add more to my price. What headset would be the better option for the price and quality you get?
