Open Question: Has anyone else heard of these creepy urban legend?

I've wrote this in Wikipedian style for you guys: I only know this myth because I was a user on BlackOnyx, called TheIcyDead87, and, before info was erased about Onyxman/Screaming Exodus, I kept notes. ALOT of notes about him.

Onyx Man (also known as the Screaming Exodus) is the given name to a rural internet urban legend that soon collapsed from existence in a matter of a month, surrounding the myth of a supposed creature that takes on the appearance of a tall dark, normal man, with black suited trousers and no physical top on, leaving a visible mark that opens up and several jet-black claws seem to reach through, as well as his shoulders - which are mainly thought to be used as balance and/or to grow to enormous heights. He also has two long arms which can be lengthened to the ground, emitting a loud screeching noise to which only his victims is audible, which are theorised to be his claws/fingernails.

Perhaps the most disturbing feature of Onyx Man himself is his clearly visible, jet-black reflective one eye which covers almost all his face, devouring the place where the eyes, mouth, nose, and mouth should be. The myth is that this 'eye' is used to see, and is mainly at the center of Onyxman being able to teleport incredibly fast. The name of the creature originates from the website domain on which Onyxman is firstly believed to have appeared onto the internet, BlackOnyx.com. The site, which allows users to post, watch, and rate videos on their internal contents related to the topic the video is in, first brought to life on the video entitled 'Recent Myths: The Staring Game', on which the user, Unicodecrevaz, explained some of the myths surrounding America's history before and after independence. One of these explained the Onyx Man, a deep and mystical figure on which had apparently stalked Christopher Columbus on his way to America. The description of the creature was of "a tall nature, 7 feet in exact, with a pitch black huge eye which filled it's face, and blank black trousers and a claw mark on it's main stomach, bleeding when appearing to be angry, and four long appendages which stretch out of it's shoulders and support the main body to reach heights of 16 feet. It's arms are said to lengthen and scratch the dirt beneath it's feet, emanating a loud scream when nearby to it's chosen stalkee".

The myth of the Onyx Man and the video of the Staring Game quickly reached high popularity and in two days was featured on several other sites, with many beginning to dedicate their days and weeks on finding the creature themselves. Then, on the 29th September 2010, a month after Onyxman's original birth, came an email which came from a user also on BlackOnyx.com. Called Chigrensphere, the user quickly emailed multiple users saying how he had apparently "accidentally" summoned Onyxman, after starting to project and describe his dreams and fears of the creature. Chigrensphere's "first" apparent encounter was on the 25th September, four days before the post. Chigrensphere described his encounter as a dream state. Telling others how he had the tendency to sleepwalk, Chigren wrote how he woke up on the day at 4:30am, under the apparent control of something. He claimed the force pushed him down the stairs, before having the power to look behind himself, and reported seeing a tall man with a huge black eye on it's face, and two long arms that clashed to the ground. Afterwards, Chigren wrote that he only remembered waking up later on.

His apparent second encounter was in the park where 'Sphere apparently lives. After sensitively writing back, Unicodecrevaz, the one who posted the Staring Game on BlackOnyx, stated he did not think that the creature was real, and along with others, sensibly came to a conclusion that the Onyx Man, real or not, feeds on addiction and fear. Many people have reported sightings of the Onyxman/Screaming Exodus, and some have gone so far to warn about him. However, the locations of these cryptic warnings of him are believed to have been deleted. As of April 18, 2011, both Chigrensphere and Unicodecrevaz have logged out of BlackOnyx.com, either by choice, paranoia, or that the site itself has been destroyed and deleted - although searching Black Onyx on Google may bring up searches, none of them match the actual description, that of which has been lost too. It is unknown if Onyxman himself has any connections to it's (Black Onyx's) destruction. What some may find disturbing is that there are current theories that, as Black Onyx was deleted, all remnants of the creature on different sites were removed, either to deletion, or, as some may say, the Dark Net - the disturbing and secret side of the World Wide Web on which the US Government and many other governments and militaries operate their own classifications and reports.
