Open Question: Computer issues; can anyone help?
I've sort of asked this question already, but I'm re-asking it because I've got some more info.
So, yesterday I turned on my Sony VAIO laptop after waking up, and after about 10 minutes, I got the Blue Screen of Death.
Looking into the reliability history, my computer told me the reason for the blue screen was a video hardware error.
The night before, I uninstalled and re-installed my Sims 2 game.
This morning, I was playing some iTunes music when my computer froze. (This has reoccured several times over the past few weeks.)
I've updated all my drivers, have no new Windows updates to install, and am just praying that my laptop is going to be alright. This is the first time I've had this blue screen. My laptop is less than year old, bought in Christmas of 2011.
What can I do? Should I take it to someone?
What does a video hardware error even mean?
All help is greatly appreciated.
