Open Question: Do you think what I did was wrong? I disciplined my son harshly & got arrested for Cruelty to Children!?
around 21 days ago I did something a bit stupid. But all I was trying to do was discipline my child. Now I realize I may have overreacted, but I honestly did not have bad intentions. Now they wont let me see my son and I think I may be facing prison time. Im not sure though. My son is 10 by the way.
What happened was that my son behaved really badly, I tried to scold him but he wouldn't listen and he punched me! I took away his video games and tv. then a few hours later he came downstairs and broke my Xbox 360 along with the hardrive that contained all of my saved games. So I was upset. I told him to go to his room again while I thought of a punishment. I was furious. So I went to the mall and bought a pink dress. A dress for like ballet girls to wear. Ok I know this is horrible but you have to get in my shoes for a second, he doesn't listen to me and he even gets violent.
Ok so what my punishment was, was that I was going to make him go to school the next day wearing to dress, so he'd be humiliated in front of all the other kids.
He was furious but I made him put on the dress the next day. I dragged him to the car! He kinda scraped his arm on the way to the car, and he hit his head ON PURPOSE on the car! during the way, so I forced him to go into school with the pink dress.
I know I sound like a psychopath, but you have to understand how he is, he doesn't respect me or his mother and he's even hit his mother in the past apart from me! he curses at us, breaks things, etc. I just thought a good humiliation would make him think of consequences for anti-social behavior.
Well it turns it the police thought of consequences but for me.
After he showed up in the dress and his arm and head a little bruised, a teacher called the police. He told them the truth, then the police came to my workplace and asked me about it. and I told them. I told them about the dress and told them he scraped his arm a little bit. I got arrested and charged with "Cruelty to Children and Criminal Domestic Violence"
I'd never been arrested in my life! I got taken to county jail, forced to put on an orange jumpsuit and I was put in solitary because the inmates heard my charges and my god they wanted to kill me! they thought I was a child beater! So I saw a judge and was denied bail until I saw a judge in a higher court or something, that took 15 days (I did eventually get put in a cell block were the inmates were calmer and for misdemeanors so I didn't have much trouble, my cellmate was in there for drugs)
Anyway, eventually my bail was set at 25,000 dollars. It took my wife a couple of days to come up with the cash bond. Part of the condiction of my release was that Child Protectivce Services would come in and check on my son and that I could not leave the state. I also had a GPS ankle monitor put on me.
This is a nightmare! How serious are these charges? Am I facing serious prison time? I honestly think although I went a bit overboard, I didn't do too much wrong.
Should I get a lawyer for this?

Open Question: Review a game, homework?
I am gonna review a game for xbox360 and make a video out it for homework. I got the whole week. I was planning on Fifa12, I am good at Fifa12. But then i realize maybe i should review a game not everyone knows about. A game that is good, but not well known game. Any suggestion?
