This idea was only reinforced by the immaturity of the industry, bombarding us with a plethora of busty babes wearing skimpy clothing. Of course, these women tend to draw more attention than the occasional well-designed and far more interesting female characters who wear actual clothes and aren't quite so strangely proportioned. It's much easier to find a more realistic female character among the increasingly shallow sea of Ivy Valentines and Chun-Lis. Faith (Mirror's Edge) Despite a lack of coherent story, Mirror's Edge was an interesting concept for a non-confrontational First Person Action title. Rather than charge in guns akimbo, you're expected to use speed and reflexes to elude your pursuers. Faith does a great job playing the role of a determined messenger -- she is capable of handling herself in bad situations without blimp-sized mammaries or high-heeled boots. Faith can give and take punishment, and doesn't rely on a miniskirt to get you on board. A great role model for other strong female characters. Lara Croft of Tomb Raider. No list like this can be without Croft. She's the most iconic of all female game leads. Sadly, as the game has progressed through its iterations, she's lost most of her characterization in favor of becoming more top heavy and capable of using larger weapons. Open Question: What is the name of this gamer girl?
I watched some videos in youtube sometime ago where a girl gave video game news (from her bedroom) She had a lot of videos and quite a few subscriptions so it's not just one random youtube girl. However, now I don't remember the name of the girl or the account and I cannot find the videos anymore. The most distinguishable thing about her was her hair, which changed a lot from one video to another, specially it's colour, which visited a wide range of the visual spectrum, I think to recall. She also had a deep voice.
