Voting Question: Why is the current society so messed up?
What do you think causes the problem in society today? TV? Movies? Media? Video Games? Greed? The Internet? or a combination of things. I find these days that people are so very superficial, tv an movies show us we should all be barbie perfect, mess around, dress like hoochies, why do people idolize celebrities? They are no different than us except that they can afford to look perfect in every way. Men and women have debates and websites on who is the hottest news anchor.....um really??? A pretty person can make men and women follow them around like little puppies, why cause they are pretty? Doesn't say much for our society does it. What do you guys think? Does every thing we see these days desensitize people to violence and sex? Or is it people have lost a lot of their self control and just blame these things on the above.
